Three things get collected when you book: a name, an email and a mobile number. Here is exactly what happens to each.
What we collect, and why
When you book a seat we ask for your name, email address and mobile number. That is the whole list.
The name goes on the manifest so the captain knows who is aboard. The email is how you get your confirmation. The mobile number exists for one reason: if a trip moves or is cancelled, we can reach you the same day.
What we do not collect
We never see your card details. Payment happens on Stripe's own checkout page, and what comes back to us is whether the payment succeeded — never the card number.
There is no advertising tracker on this site and we do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.
Who else handles it
Stripe processes payments and holds the payment record. Neon hosts the database your booking is stored in. Vercel hosts the website itself. Each of them handles this data only to provide that service to us.
If you have chosen to receive email from us, our email provider handles the address for that purpose alone.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept while they are needed for the trip and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require records of a sale.
Ask us to delete your details and we will, other than anything we are legally required to keep as a record of a transaction.
Your choices
Write to CaptainKal@ftacharters.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. A person reads that inbox and will answer.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your data. Ask and we will honour them.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookie it sets is for the operator's own schedule admin, and only once someone signs in to it.
The terms your seat is sold under are on the booking terms page.
